Event Details

Digital Transitions welcomes digital techs of all levels of experience to join us for a night of networking.

Stop by to hear about the latest tips and tricks of Capture One software and enjoy a few drinks on us. With v12 of Capture One recently released, this is a great opportunity to hear about the features and even test it out! We’ll have a workstation set up with Capture One for you to demo and our experienced support team would be happy to walk you through the updates. Our support staff will be on hand for the duration of the event to answer any and all questions and concerns.

Featuring AppleScripting:

Expand your toolset as a digital tech with AppleScripting. Scripts can turn a repetitive mission-critical task into a single keystroke. Each new release has brought enhanced scripting functionality to Capture One, and in v12 the depth of scripting capability is truly deep. While some scripts require significant programming skills, many simple scripts can be easily written with no previous experience. As the leading expert in scripting for Capture One, our Head of R+D, Doug Peterson, will offer a free half-hour scripting primer that covers:
  • Why Script? What problems can scripting solve?
  • Getting Started: How to get started; super simple, but useful, scripts
  • Going Deeper: DT Building Blocks AppleScripts
  • Case Study: The DT Time Lapse Editor (a script based tool for C1)
  • STOP! When scripting isn’ the right answer
One copy of the DT Building Blocks AppleScripts will be raffled off for free and every attendee will receive five free scripts to help them explore the world of AppleScripting for Capture One. You’re welcome to bring a laptop with C1 v12 installed to follow along, but it is not required.

Whether you are an experienced digital tech or new to the field we look forward to seeing you!
