Death Valley is truly one of the most unique locations in the world. Boasting the lowest, driest and hottest locations in North America, the photography opportunities are as varied as they are endless. Join world-renowned photographer Andrei Duman as he takes you to some of the most incredible shooting locations in the park. This 2 nights, 3 days workshop will allow photographers the chance to capture the sights throughout the day as the sun paints the landscape of Badwater Basin, Zabriskie Point, Artist Palette and Mesquite Sand Dunes to name a few. Working directly with Andrei, you will be guided through all the necessary steps to ensure that you will capture incredible images and have amazing experiences. 

Through a special partnership with Phase One Cameras and Digital Transitions, you will have the opportunity to use the industry-leading camera system along with multiple Schneider Lenses. The incredible resolution power of these systems will allow you to capture the most detailed and vibrant images. Phase One representative Scott Nidermaier and Digital Transitions representative Ken Scott, will be in attendance to provide award-winning technical support, on-site Capture One Training, and a one-of-a-kind experience.

Included in the workshop is an exclusive meet and greet with Film Solutions printing house who will walk you through their preparation and final printing of your actual chosen image taken during the workshop. They will provide a 30×40 print on high-quality archival paper (additional fee should you wish to have it mounted).

Death Valley gets very hot during the day (around 105ºF). We will be walking from the parking area to the shoot locations, therefore it is crucial that you remain hydrated throughout the workshop.

This workshop is open to all levels of photography.

Day 2:

• Sunrise shoot at Zabriske Point 
• Morning shoot at Twenty Mule Canyon
• Lunch at Hotel
• Early afternoon Post production/Capture One Session
• Evening shoot at Mesquite Dunes and surrounding areas
• Dinner at Hotel
• Hotel: The Ranch at Death Valley

Day 3:

• Breakfast
• Sunrise shoot at Artiste Palette
• Early morning shoot at Devils Golf Course and other nearby locations
